A Word from the Music Director!

At the July 26 congregational meeting, it was very gratifying to me to hear that those present considered our worship practices and our music program to be areas in which Pilgrim is strong.  That can only continue if members of Pilgrim are COMMITTED and INVOLVED in growing and maintaining these areas.

"How?" you may ask.  First of all, I invite you to pray for our music ministries. Second, I ask that you encourage others to participate in our programs.  Third, I encourage YOU to participate yourself.  We need help from those with large and small talents in the field of music. We need help from those with much time to give and with only a small amount of time to share themselves.  Also remember that I can't personally ask you to participate if I don't know of your talent or interest.

Opportunities to be involved:

ADULT CHOIR --  Anyone, age 13-93, who loves to sing is welcome. Rehearsals are held on Wednesday evenings from 6:50-8:00 pm.  

WORSHIP TEAM (10:30 service) --  Rehearsals are held on Wednesdays at 8:00 pm.

SOLO/SMALL GROUP SINGING --  Beautify our services.

INSTRUMENTALISTS --  Play a musical instrument as a soloist or with the worship team.

SUGGESTIONS --  New programs we could implement.

As always - a big "THANK YOU" to all who share their talented abilities week after week.
